The Battery Barn has been in the replacement battery business
since 1980. We were mostly known for our new, used and rebuilt
batteries for cars, trucks, and heavy equipment.
In 1987 we added starters and alternators to our line. We carry
a full line of new starters and alternators. For items we do
not stock or that are hard to find, we have our own in-house
facilities to rebuild most makes and models, from light-duty
yard machines to heavy-duty tractors, trucks, and industrial
equipment.
In 1988 we entered the specialty battery market. Specialty
batteries include batteries for almost any type of equipment.
These include but are not limited to: Camcorders, Digital
Cameras, UPS Systems, Alarm Systems, Security Systems, Cellular
and Cordless Telephones, Power Tools, Medical Equipment,
Communications, Hobby, Computer, Emergency Lights, Pagers,
Watches, Auto Alarms, Thermostats, Scanners, Dog Collars,
Printers, Flashlights, Aircraft - just about anything that
requires a battery. We also carry a full line of flashlights.
We are distributors for Mag-Light, Streamlight, Bright Star/Kohler
and Duracell Brands.
In 1996 we opened our custom built battery pack department.
We build custom battery packs that are not obtainable elsewhere.
These packs are assembled in our own production department,
usually within a few days of the order. Some of the more
popular items are Portable Power Equipment, i.e. Drills,
Screwdrivers, Saws, and Lights - from 1.2 volt to 24 or more
volts. We can work in Nickel Cadmium, Nickel Metal Hydride,
Lithium, Lead Acid, and Alkaline. We currently have no
equipment to handle Lithium Ion Cells.
Currently there are three generations of the Cunningham family
working daily to help you with your battery related needs. Our
main focus is Customer Service. We strive to maintain a
consistent, dependable service and a product inventory adequate
to meet our customers needs. We want you to count on us for
accurate product knowledge, prompt service and a fair price.
We encourage your questions, suggestions and comments.
